Flooding numbers around WNY

Heavy rainfall late Friday night into early Saturday morning caused many roads across Western New York to be shut down overnight due to minor flooding.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Heavy rainfall late Friday night into early Saturday morning caused many roads across Western New York to be shut down overnight due to minor flooding.

Amherst, Kenmore, West Seneca and Lancaster were among the areas affected by this heavy rainfall, which then issued a Flood Warning by the National Weather Service in Buffalo.

The warning was for northeastern Erie County, southern Niagara County, Southern Orleans County and Genesee County and expired at 9 a.m. Sunday.

National Weather service has almost 4 inches of rainfall measured in Kenmore, nearly 3 inches in Williamsville and 2 inches for Depew.
