The Buffalo Curling Club is hosting an Open House at their new indoor facility on Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Along with live demonstrations on and off the ice, the event will also include food trucks, raffles, and wine tasting.
The "Try for $5" on-ice demonstrations will give enthusiasts an overview of the rules, how to "deliver rocks," "sweep rocks" and score points.
And in true Buffalo style, the new building also represents the renovation of a historical building, filling out the old Buffalo China Factory in South Buffalo.
