Niagara County SPCA hosts annual Kids Day

"We're happy to be here, and we're happy to have this wonderful turnout and all the people that came, we're very grateful," said Paula Milligan of the Niagara County SPCA.

The Niagara County SPCA hosted its annual kids day on Saturday in North Tonawanda.

The SPCA partnered up with Jamie's Ice Cream, Wurlitzer Pizza and Sweet Buffalo Rocks for a day of sweet treats and spring activities for the whole family to enjoy.

There was rock painting from Sweet Buffalo Rocks, an Easter parade and even a special "muddy paws" sundae, with proceeds going to help the no-kill shelter.

"We're happy to be here, and we're happy to have this wonderful turnout and all the people that came, we're very grateful," said Paula Milligan of the Niagara County SPCA.

According to the shelter, 12,500 animals have been saved since 2012.
