BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Veterans and low-income families will soon have a new place to call home in Buffalo.
Tuesday, Mayor Byron Brown and other community leaders held a groundbreaking ceremony on a new housing project led by the non-profit Help USA.
The housing project is on the city's East Side. It will have 47-units for veterans and low-income families.
Tuesday, Brown said one of his goals as mayor is to end the problem of homeless veterans.
"It's part of our desire to build a city of opportunity for all residents," he said.
