National Fuel is looking for meter readers

BUFFALO, N.Y. — If you're looking for a job, National Fuel might be looking for you.

The utility announced that it's looking to hire meter readers to go around and check meters, as well as answers customer questions.

The interviews will be held October 23 at the Buffalo Employment & Training Center located at 77 Goodell Street in downtown Buffalo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You need to have a high school diploma and a driver's license with a clean record.

If you're interested, bring proof of both of those to the interviews. You are asked to reserve a space in advance by emailing your name to jobs@natfuel.com.

Prospective candidates must be able to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Saturday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.  The rate of pay is $14.50/hour, plus incentive pay based on the number of meters read.
