NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — The Maid of the mist is going green.
Two new zero-emission, all-electric boats will be hitting the water today to give an inside look of the new vessels to the media.
The two new boats are named after longtime Maid of the Mist chairman James V. Glynn and electricity pioneer Nikola Tesla.
Because the boats are all-electric, the Maid of the Mist says visitors will be able to experience the falls undisturbed by engine noise or exhaust.
