Judge orders CCS assets to Bank of America

This order essentially puts CCS out of business.

It appears CCS Oncology is now out of business.

Judge Elizbeth Wolford issued a preliminary injunction and awarded the assets of CCS to Bank of America, which initiated the legal action.

Bank of America had given CCS credit lines totaling more than $16 million. According to court documents, CCS repeatedly missed payments...

CCS was apparently under severe financial straits.

A federal tax lien was filed against the company. Testimony suggests that vendors, doctors and at least one pharmaceutical company was owed millions of dollars.

Judge Wolford was convinced by Bank of America's argument and Wednesday issued a preliminary injunction and ordered the assets of CCS, valued at one time at more than $23 million, to Bank of America.

This order essentially puts CCS out of business.

Officers of CCS have been ordered sell or transfer anything of any value.

CCS could not be reached for comment.
