A Jamestown firefighter is facing charges after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown firefighter is facing a handful of charges after an alleged physical altercation with his girlfriend.

Ryan DiDomenico, 35, is accused of holding his girlfriend on the floor, against her will, and at one point, brandishing a handgun and firing a round of bullets into a wall into the residence.

The victim attempted to call 911 from her cell phone but DiDomenico took it from her, according to police. The victim then ran out of the home and called 911.

DiDomenico has been charged with menacing, unlawful imprisonment, reckless endangerment, criminal obstruction of breathing and criminal mischief.

A source confirmed to 2 On Your Side that DiDomenico is a Jamestown Firefighter. A Facebook page called "Jamestown Professional Firefighters Local 1772" lists DiDomenico as the fire department's treasurer.
