ELLICOTTVILLE, NY - Whether you're a fan of winter weather or not, there's one bright side to the snow we've been seeing - getting back to the ski slopes!
Holiday Valley in Ellicottville announced Monday that, weather permitting, it plans to open up the day after Thanksgiving, with the snow-making guns revving up Tuesday.
"The kickoff of snowmaking for the 2018-19 season will be this Tuesday evening, November 13th!" the resort said in a Facebook post.
"At this time," Holiday Valley went on to say, "we plan to stockpile the snow with anticipated OPENING on our target date, November 23rd! (Weather dependent!)"
