Ex-pats get a welcome home presentation

There is a strong push to get ex-pats back in Buffalo.
BNMC hosted a Home for the Holidays event for former Buffalonians

BUFFALO, N.Y. - As development continues in Buffalo, there is a push to get ex-pats back home.

The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus hosted an event called Home for the Holidays. There was a brief presentation and video showing all that has happened in Buffalo, especially in the Medical Campus. Attendees who live across the country, but came home for the holidays, also got a brief tour.

Paul Reed is in graduate school in Oregon and wouldn't mind returning to Buffalo.

"I really love it here and its just neat to see all the innovation and the new things that are coming," says Reed.

A big draw to return home is to be closer to family. Katie Addo is from Clarence. She and her husband, Greg, live in Brooklyn. She works Glamour Magazine and he works for Time Magazine. Both would like to live in Buffalo if they can find jobs.
