BUFFALO, NY — Save the Michaels of the World held a benefit Saturday to bring awareness to the opioid epidemic.
The group was founded in 2011, after the opioid overdose death of 20-year-old Michael David Israel.
Today's inaugural community benefit helps to raise money for the organization, so they can continue their grass-roots efforts.
