JAMESTOWN, N.Y. -- High winds could be felt throughout Western New York Tuesday, knocking down a tree in the Chautauqua County village of Falconer.

Neighbors say they heard a boom as the tree took down power lines on Route 394.

Crews had to close down the road for a while, but it's since been reopened.

It was one of a few places where falling trees knocked out power to a few hundred people around the area.
