Clarence man dies from head-on crash

A 27-year-old Clarence man has died from the injuries he suffered in a head-on crash in Niagara County.

ROYALTON, N.Y. — A 27-year-old Clarence man was killed Friday evening in an accident in the Town of Royalton, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.

It happened at about 6:10 p.m on Akron Road.

Investigators say that a westbound vehicle, driven by Terence Standsblack, attempted to pass a vehicle in front of him, and ended up striking an eastbound vehicle head-on.

Standsblack was taken by ambulance to ECMC, where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle, Devon Kinney, 26, of Lockport, was taken to ECMC, where she is in stable condition.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the accident.
