BUFFALO, N.Y. -Drivers crossing the Peace Bridge to get into Canada will soon have to cough up a little more cash.

Starting on January 1, 2018, the toll for passenger vehicles will rise 75 cents to $3.75. If that wasn't enough, E-Z pass drivers will also be lose their 10 percent discount.

The Peace Bridge Authority unanimously OK'd the toll hike Friday.

The additional revenue will go to help pay for the span's $185 million rehabilitation project over the next few years.

The last toll increase for the Peace Bridge was in 2007.
