CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — Congressman Brian Higgins (D-NY) announced nearly $1.5 million dollars in federal grants for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
The grant money will be used to purchase new snow removal equipment, fund runway deicing equipment, and fund a study of runway obstructions.
The grants were provided through the FAA's Airport Improvement Program.
