BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a shooting that sent a 20-year-old Buffalo man to the hospital Monday afternoon.

Buffalo Police say the shooting happened at about 1:30 p.m. in the first block of Clayton Street.

The shooting victim was sent to Kenmore Mercy Hospital with wounds that appeared serious, police say.
