AMHERST, N.Y. — A man was taken to the hospital after he was pinned between two vehicles following an accident..
It happened shortly before 8 A.M. on Kensington Avenue at Lamarck Drive.
Amherst Police say a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old female was northbound on Lamarck Dr. when she collided with a SUV driven by a 25-year-old male.
The female driver then struck a construction worker, pinning the worker between her vehicle and a dump truck that was parked in the roadway.
The construction worker was freed by firefighters. The worker suffered a lower leg injury and was taken to ECMC by ambulance.
No word on if any charges will be filed. Police are still investigating.
