TOWN OF LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- State Police are asking for the public's help after an 87-year-old woman was badly injured and robbed Friday evening.

The woman, whose name has not been released, suffered a broken left arm, a possible fractured nose and was scrapped up after she was pushed to the ground entering a business off of Robinson Road at about 6:50 p.m.

The woman's purse with credit cards and her I.Ds were taken when she was pushed to the ground.

The suspect is described as a white man who is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and around the age of 30 to 35. He was wearing dark clothing and a knit hat when he pushed the woman.

He then ran toward Woodland Trailer Park.
