BUFFALO, NY-An annual Thanksgiving tradition has sold out for another year.

The YMCA Buffalo Niagara announced Tuesday the 121st Turkey Trot has officially reached capacity.

14,000 runners & walkers will start out from the Delaware Y and make their way down Delaware into downtown Buffalo where a post race party and awards ceremony awaits them.

"We're excited to receive such overwhelming support for the YMCA Turkey Trot," said Geoffrey Falkner, Communications Director for YMCA Buffalo Niagara. "The race has become one of Buffalo's greatest holiday traditions, and our participants are helping to strengthen the Western New York community. Even if you're not running, you can make an impact by signing up to be a race day volunteer at YMCATurkeyTrot.org."

Registrants can pick up their race packets starting Monday, November 21st, through Wednesday, November 23rd from 10 A.M.-7 P.M. at the Independent Health Family Branch YMCA at 150 Tech Dr. in Amherst near the ECC North campus.

2 On Your Side, the YMCA are teaming up to help the Food Bank of WNY. Here's how you can help. Just bring two cans of non-perishable food to your local YMCA between November 1-30. You can also drop off your donation at the Independent Health Family Branch when you pick up your race packet Nov. 21-23. On the day of the race, there will be collection bins at the start line of the Delaware YMCA branch and at the Convention Center.
