Town of Amherst to expand Main Library at Audubon

Most of the additional space will be used as a children's reading room for families to spend time picking out books and reading.

AMHERST, N.Y. — The Town of Amherst announced plans on Wednesday to expand its Main Library at Audubon.

The town says it's the second-busiest location in all of Erie County, and with money from the town and a matching grant from the state education department, it will soon be about 5,000 square feet bigger.

Most of the additional space will be used as a children's reading room for families to spend time picking out books and reading.
