AMHERST, NY — University at Buffalo students had reason to celebrate after the Bulls' upset win over Arizona on Thursday.
But apparently, one student went a bit too far.
According to Buffalo Police spokesman Michael DeGeorge, officers responded a disturbance in the University Heights neighborhood early Friday morning. After they broke it up, police were dispatched to the area a half-hour later — only this time a couch was on fire.
Ryan Shechet, 19, ended up being charged with unlawful assembly and disorderly conduct. According to his Facebook page, Schechet studies marketing at UB.
