BUFFALO, NY-- The Cheektowaga man accused of killing his girlfriend and her seven-year-old son, is now facing first-degree murder charges.

Shane Stevenson, 31, was indicted on that charge, as well as two counts of murder in the second degree, in the deaths of Raina Voll, 30, and her son, Leo Klinger in September.

Stevenson pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail. His attorney has asked for a forensic exam to see if he is competent to stand trial.

If he is, and if he's convicted, he faces the possibility of life without parole. Stevenson's next court date is scheduled for December 19.
