MAYVILLE, NY-- A Jamestown man accused of killing his wife has been indicted by a grand jury.

Keith L. Robbins, 36, is charged with second degree murder and injuring a police animal.

Robbins is accused of shooting his wife Shari Robbins November 10 in a church parking lot in Jamestown.

Police arrested Robbins five days later following a six-hour standoff. Police say Robbins stabbed K-9 Mitchell after the dog was sent in to locate Robbins.

Mitchell underwent emergency surgery and is recovering from his injury.
