BUFFALO, NY - A Cheektowaga man, awaiting sentencing for attacking an ex-girlfriend with a sledgehammer, is now facing additional charges for allegedly attacking his attorney.

Mark Dublino, 54, was arraigned in Buffalo City Court Friday on one count of felony assault while confined in a correctional facility and one count of attempted assault with intent to cause serious injury.

Dublino was meeting with his attorney, Joseph Terranova, at the Erie Co. Holding Ctr. on March 9 when Dublino came around a table and allegedly lunged for the lawyer.

Dublino is scheduled to return to court on March 20 at 9:30 a.m. He remains remanded without bail.

If convicted on all charges, Dublino faces a maximum of 7 years in prison.

Dublino's sentencing in the attempted murder case has now been moved to later this month while a new attorney takes over his case.
