Perry's Ice Cream celebrates 100th Anniversary

Perry's Ice Cream is celebrating their 100th Anniversary!

AKRON, NY-- Perry's Ice Cream is celebrating their 100th Anniversary.

Perry's was founded by H. Morton Perry in 1918. Perry purchased a dairy and delivered milk to customers in the area. In 1932, Akron High School asked Perry to supply ice cream to the school.

To commemorate their 100th Anniversary, Perry's is releasing four retro flavors from the past: Parkerhouse (1950s), Heavenly Hash (1970s), Butterscotch Sundae (1980s) and Malt Shoppe (1990s). They will be available at some local grocery stores for a limited time.

As part of their celebration, Perry's will be hosting an Ice Cream party for students at Akron Central Schools, where it all started.
