HAMBURG, N.Y. — A 36-year-old country market in Hamburg has a new owner, who has pledged to retain the market’s offerings while adding more products, services and activities.
Busy Beaver Lawn and Garden of Cheektowaga bought Zittel’s Country Market, 4415 Southwestern Blvd. in Hamburg, late last month and took over operations Oct. 1.
The Amos Zittel family will continue to own and operate Amos Zittel & Sons Inc., a wholesale farm and greenhouses in Eden, according to a Facebook post.
