Bids for Broadway Barns, animal shelter, LaSalle station attracting early interest

“We are getting calls,” said Michael Finn, Buffalo Public Works commissioner.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bids aren’t due until July 29, but Buffalo is already receiving inquiries about the city-owned Broadway Barns and Buffalo Animal Shelter.

The same is true with a 7.2-acre grouping of six parcels centered around the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority’s LaSalle Metro Rail station, along Main Street and Hertel Avenue. Bids for that are due June 3.

“We are getting calls,” said Michael Finn, Buffalo Public Works commissioner.
