BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The City of Buffalo Animal Shelter has expanded their evening hours for the holiday season.
The shelter will now be open until 7 p.m. on Mondays. Previously they were only open until 3 p.m.
The later hours take effect on Monday, Nov. 16.
The city says animal adoptions typically increase during the holiday season, and this should give the public a wider window of opportunity to visit the shelter.
For more information, including adoptable pets you can visit the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter's website.
