- Red pepper flakes
- Lemon
Follow these steps:
- Sautée Swiss chard in a pan with olive oil, salt and pepper
- Add red pepper flakes to make it spicy
- Sautée until Swiss chard is wilted
- Squeeze lemon on top as desired
White Cheddar Polenta (Alternative to mashed potatoes!)
You'll need:
- Package of corn grits/polenta mix
- ½ stick of butter
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 ½ cups of sharp cheddar cheese
Follow these steps:
- Follow instructions on package (Usually 3:1 ratio. Three cups liquid. One cup dry polenta. Bring liquid to boil. Pour in dry polenta. Stir like crazy until it’s thickened and smooth.)
- Add in butter, heavy cream and sharp cheddar cheese
To serve: Pour the polenta in a serving dish. Top with sautéed Swiss chard. Optional: add some parmesan cheese on top!
Bonus...

- Top with a dash of lemon juice
