ELLICOTTVILLE, NY -- For some 30 years now, Western New Yorkers have marked the end of festival season with Fall Fest in Ellicottville.
The annual trek to that southern tier town is highlighted by food, music and the spectacular foliage on the surrounding hills.
This year however, the lack of rain over the summer combined with warm fall nights have stressed the trees, leaving them greener than usual for this time of year.
As Photojournalist Dooley O'Rourke found. out, folks in Ellicottville are not worried about the color of the leaves as Fall Fest gets under way.
