Imagine a sporting event, but with only the kiss cam. That probably best describes the longest kiss competition that happened in Russia on Valentine's Day. The Moscow contest did have a bit of winter games flare. It happened at a skating rink with contestants on skates.
The rules were pretty simple. Couples had to kiss for as long as they could. The lip-locked competitors were also projected on a big screen for all to see and prizes were awarded for those who really went the distance.
It got me wondering: what is the record for the longest kiss? Turns out, it was set in 2013 by a couple from Thailand. Ekkachai Tiranarat and Laksana Tiranarat kissed for 58 hours, 35 minutes and 58 seconds! Their faces really say it all, don't they? Full disclosure: I laughed out loud.
