WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - For the special-order diners out there who want to choose every ingredient that goes into their meal: here's the place for you.

Momo's Mongolian Grill opened up about six months ago after changing over from Shogun, the hibachi restaurant owner Mia Hwang ran along Transit Road for more than a quarter-century.

And like Shogun helped bring the cooked-in-front-of-you experience to Western New York, she's using Momo's to introduce the area to Mongolian barbecue.

"This is very similar to the hibachi, but a little more casual," says Hwang. "You can be vegetarian, meat lover; there are so many options here."

The concept is fairly simple- take your bowl over to the buffet, fill it with an expansive selection of meat, veggies, noodles and sauces, and give it to the chef to cook on a massive 7-foot-diameter grill while you watch.

"It's not really familiar to the people in Buffalo, but I think they'll like it," says Hwang. "It's a very fresh, very unique style."

Along with the buffet, there are traditional hibachi dishes that can be brought to you table, bento boxes, appetizers, and of course sushi. Momo's features a beautiful sushi bar in the back with delicious and artfully-prepared rolls. Starting in November, it will also offer $24.95 all-you-can-eat sushi on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Momo's will also offer a Restaurant Week special starting October 16th- check out more restaurants offering deals here.
