Smoking banned in parts of Buffalo Public Parks
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- There's another place where smoking is now banned in Buffalo.
The common council approved a measure Tuesday, that would create designated areas for smoking in Buffalo parks.
Using cigarettes in other parts of the park would be illegal.
Council President, Darius Pridgen, proposed the law, saying it's about keeping the air clean for kids playing in the parks and saving them from the effects of second-hand smoke.
