WARSAW, NY - The Warsaw State Police were on the look-out for drivers under the influence or reckless driving over this Labor Day weekend.
Troopers made three arrests for Driving While Intoxicated, one of those was also an arrest for Leandra's Law.
On Friday September 2, troopers arrested 46-year-old Steven Callaro of Silver Springs. Callaro was stopped for failure to keep right on a school road in the Town of Gainesville. Police found he had a BAC of .14% after performing a breath test.
On Saturday September 3, 22-year-old Summer Reile of South Wales was arrested in the Town of Sheldon and charged with Aggravated DWI after failing roadside sobriety tests. Her BAC was found to be .18%.
On Monday September 5, troopers were called to the scene of a vehicle in a ditch of Chaffee Road in Arcade. Driver Eva Schreckengost, 37-years-old from Randolph, was arrested for a Felony Aggravated DWI and also charged with Leandra's Law. Police found two children, ages 10 and 7 in the backseat. Schreckengost had a BAC of .14% and is being held in the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500 bail. She will appear in court at a later date.
