New York, NY (Sports Network) - St. Louis Blues forward Chris Stewart, Ottawa
Senators center Kyle Turris and Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei
Bobrovsky were selected as the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending March
17.
Stewart gained First Star honors by striking for an NHL-leading seven points
(5G, 2A) in only three games. He registered the game-winning scores in a 3-0
win over Phoenix on March 14 and in a 2-1 overtime decision against Anaheim
two days later.
The 25-year-old Toronto native leads the Blues with 14 goals and 28 points in
28 games this season.
Turris picked up the Second Star by recording six points in four games,
recording at least one point in all of his appearances last week. His best
performance came in a 4-3 victory at Buffalo this past Saturday, recording two
goals -- including the overtime winner -- along with an assist.
Bobrovsky earned the First Star last week and remained on the ledger with the
Third Star this time around after going 1-0-2 with a league-low 0.62 goals-
against average and .983 save percentage in three starts. His selection marked
the first time in Blue Jackets history that a player has been named a top star
in consecutive weeks.
