second period to help Colorado overcome an early deficit and beat Edmonton,
3-1, at Pepsi Center.
Peter Stastny added a late score and Matt Duchene posted two assists for the
Avalanche, who have won two in a row since losing three straight.
Semyon Varlamov stopped 25 shots.
Nail Yakupov's first-period marker was all for the Oilers, losers in three of
their last five. Devan Dubnyk played well in defeat, making 37 saves.
