Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - Ezequiel Carrera and Lou Marson each had RBI
singles in the sixth to help push the Cleveland Indians past the Milwaukee
Brewers, 4-2, on Monday in spring training action.
Cleveland starter Ulbado Jimenez was strong over 5 1/3 innings of work,
striking out five while allowing two runs on seven hits. Cord Phelps had a run
scoring triple in the victory.
Alfredo Figaro took the loss for the Brewers, walking two while giving up
three hits and a run over 1 2/3 innings. Blake Lalli went 2-for-3 with an RBI
double in defeat.
