Bisons Unveil New Look, Introduce Brown, Sign Negrych

BUFFALO, N.Y.-It was huge day for the Buffalo Bisons as they introduced their new manager, signed a player from Buffalo and unveiled their new logo.

Former Bisons skipper Marty Brown returns to manage the Bisons, this time with the Toronto Blue Jays as the Bisons parent club. Brown managed the Bisons for three seasons, 2003-2005, and won the 2004 International League Governors' Cup Championship. Brown and the Bisons were with the Cleveland Indians during that time.

The Blue Jays also signed St. Francis graduate Jim Negrych who made the Triple A All Star team while with Syracuse last season. Negrych signed his contract at Tuesday's press conference at Pettibone's grill at Coca Cola Field.

The Bisons also unveiled their new look for the 2013 season.    

Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos  was on hand for the announcements. Anthopolos drove down from Toronto after hosting a news conference to introduce John Gibbons as the Blue Jays new manager..
