ALBION, NY-- An anonymous tip led police to a suspect who fled from Orleans County Narcotics officers in December.
Investigators say Allen M. Young, who was the subject of a several month-long investigation by the Orleans County Narcotics Task Force, fled from a parking lot in the Town of Ridgeway, nearly hitting both investigators with his vehicle in December.
Police say they received an anonymous tip that Young was back in WNY, with a female companion. That person was also able to provide police with a description of the vehicle the two were driving, as well an out-of-state license plate number.
Orleans County Sheriff's office, along with the New York and Pennsylvania State Police were able to track Allen down on the I-90 near Erie, Pennsylvania and arrest him on Friday.
Allen faces several felony charges, and possibly federal charges.
