Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Cardinals will keep just two
starting pitchers on their roster for Friday's wild card playoff game against
the Atlanta Braves.

long relief or extra innings.
The bullpen will also consist of closer Jason Motte, Mitchell Boggs, Edward
Mujica, Marc Rzepczynski, Sam Freeman, Joe Kelly, Fernando Salas and Trevor
Rosenthal. Kelly also started 16 games this season.
Manager Mike Matheny decided to keep three catchers, as Tony Cruz and Bryan
Anderson will join starter Yadier Molina.
Other position players will be Carlos Beltran, Matt Holliday, Allen Craig, Jon
Jay, Adron Chambers, Shane Robinson, David Freese, Matt Carpenter, Skip
Schumaker, Daniel Descalso, Peter Kozma and Ryan Jackson.
The Cardinals can make changes for the Division Series if they beat the
Braves.
