When the Pembroke Dragons Girls Basketball team decided last year to start a fundraiser to fight breast cancer, they raised over $4,000 in a short period of time. With a goal of six thousand in 2013, the team got to work promoting another Shooting For a Cure event at their school.

Amazingly, they surpassed their lofty goal (with a lot of help from the Genesee County community).
