WELLSVILLE, NY - Four Wellsville teens were arrested by Village of Wellsville police officers for illegal possession and sale of prescription drugs on Wednesday.
The investigation resulted from a complaint filed on behalf of Wellsville High School regarding the possession and sale of prescription pills at the school. It resulted in the following charges:
- A 16-year-old Wellsville male was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 4th degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree.
- Another 16-year-old Wellsville male was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree.
The two teenagers were arraigned in Village of Wellsville Court and released to their parents to return at a later date.
- A 15-year-old Wellsville male was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th degree.
- A 15-year-old Wellsville female was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd degree.
The 15-year-olds were processed and petitioned to the Allegany County Probation Department.
