2-On-Your-Side's Adam Benigni and Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle discuss many of the issues surrounding the Bills as they get ready to face the Texans in Houston on Sunday.
The Bills are coming off their bye week a very disappointing 3-4, and face a very tough opponent in the 6-1 Texans. With the Bills below 500 on the season, one could argue the two most critical games are this week at Houston, and next week at New England if the Bills want to have a realistic shot at ending their 12-year playoff drought.
They have been horrible on defense, and it's a weekend where they have to face one of the NFL's top running backs in Arian Foster. It will be a homecoming for defensive end Mario Williams who left the Texans in the offseason for free agency without Houston making him an offer. He's been a monumental disappointment in seven games with Buffalo, and is coming off minor wrist surgery during the bye to solve what he says has been part of the problem.
There is also the issue of Ryan Fitzpatrick and his inconsistency at quarterback.
Adam and Sal share their opinions every Wednesday, and on Sunday after home games as WGRZ and the D&C combine to bring you enhanced Bills coverage once again this year.
