JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - A Jamestown man is being charged with driving while intoxicated with two children in the car, a violation of Leandra's Law.
Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies pulled over a vehicle early Saturday morning on Chandler Street after it failed to stop at a stop sign and use its turning signal.
The operator, 44 year old Shell S. Raymond, of Jamestown, was found to be intoxicated with two children in the car, ages 8 and 11.
The Leandra's Law violation makes this charge a felony D.W.I. Raymond was taken into custody pending arraignment in Jamestown.
